The Threshold

Tell the
cosmos
where you began.

Three coordinates — year, month, day. A fourth, if you have it: the hour. From these we draw your four pillars, count your five elements, and cast a hexagram into your reading.

Birth Coordinates

Used to calculate your 대운 (luck pillars) — the timing in your reading. Skip it and your reading covers character but not timing.

Optional — improves hour pillar accuracy

Note — Saju runs on the solar year, not the lunar one. The year pillar turns at 立春 — a moment the engine computes for your birth year, not a fixed calendar date. Add your birth city and we'll automatically apply a true-solar-time correction to sharpen the hour pillar.
